The Reconfiguration Process
- You tell us what is changing. We visit your office to count the workstations and note any spare cubicle parts you have in storage.
- We draw the new layout with you. Design and space planning are free, and we do not charge project management fees.
- We schedule the work around your business hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Our crew takes apart the workstations, then moves and rebuilds them according to your floor plan. We level every work surface.
- We haul away the leftover parts and packaging, and we buy back or recycle any office furniture you no longer need.
During Your Office Reconfiguration
Your project coordinator is the person you contact throughout the job, from the first visit until the workstations are rebuilt. The crew brings the parts and tools needed for your layout. We protect the floors and doorways and do the work in the order that keeps the most desks usable. When we schedule the work for evenings or a weekend, your team can use their desks during the day. Yes. We work with the systems furniture you already own. Before drawing the plan, we count your cubicle parts to check what fits and what is missing.
Do we have to close the office during the reconfiguration?
No. We schedule evening and weekend work when needed to keep your office open. We arrange the work so as few desks as possible are out of use at once.
Is there a charge for the space planning?
No. Design and space planning are free, and we do not charge project management or design fees.
What happens to the workstations we no longer need?
We buy back office furniture that still has resale value and recycle what does not. Ducky's has bought, sold, and traded used office furniture for over 35 years.
